The Medunsa UL SMU Caladrius Alumni Network represents the Class of 2006 - a unique “sandwich group” bridging the legacy of the Medical University of Southern Africa (Medunsa, 1976), the transition through the University of Limpopo (UL, 2005), and the transformation into Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU, 2014).
Together, the university and the Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital have produced stalwarts across medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, dentistry and allied health - graduates who have left a mark on healthcare in South Africa, the SADC region, Africa and beyond.
This reunion is more than a party. It's a moment to honour our shared past, celebrate the ground we've broken, and recommit to the network we'll carry forward together.
As we mark 20 Years of Excellence, Unity & Legacy at Sun City this October, we want to honour the incredible journeys of our classmates - across academia, community, leadership, media, travel and more.
